She left the beautiful state of Florida to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2022. As a student, she completed her externships in a variety of clinical environments with a focus in disease, primary care, pediatrics, contact lens fittings and pre/post operative care. She spent 3 months serving veterans at the Montgomery VA Medical Center which has been one of the most rewarding parts of her optometric experience thus far.
